1. About The Composure Rooms

The Composure Rooms is a private reflection and structured conversation service operated by an individual practitioner based in Switzerland. By purchasing a service or membership, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Nature of the Service

The Composure Rooms provides structured reflection, psychologically observant conversation, written responses, guided observations, and curated tasks. This is not a therapy service, counselling service, crisis support service, or any form of regulated mental health provision. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact an appropriate professional or emergency service.

Any in-person presence available at higher membership tiers is strictly conversational and non-romantic, non-sexual in nature.

3. Services and Memberships

One-off services (The Observation Room and The Listening Room) are purchased directly and delivered as a single engagement.

Memberships (The Reflective Room, The Directive Room, and The Velvet Directive) are ongoing and subject to the membership terms set out below. All memberships are application-based. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

4. Payment

All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF). Payment is processed securely through Stripe. For one-off services, payment is taken at the point of purchase. For memberships, recurring monthly payments are charged automatically on the same date each month following the initial payment.

For The Directive Room and The Velvet Directive, a payment link will be sent manually following application review and approval. No charge is made until approval is confirmed.

5. Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable. Once a service or membership payment has been made, no refunds will be issued. If you have a question or concern about a payment, please contact us at inquiries@thecomposureroom.com and we will respond within 5 business days.

6. Membership Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by providing 30 days written notice to inquiries@thecomposureroom.com Your membership will remain active until the end of the notice period. No partial refunds are issued for the final month.

The Composure Rooms reserves the right to cancel a membership immediately and without refund if a member breaches the conduct boundaries set out in Section 7 below.

7. Conduct and Boundaries

The Composure Rooms operates within clearly defined boundaries. The following behaviours will result in immediate membership termination without refund:

Aggressive, threatening, or manipulative communication directed at the practitioner.

Sexually explicit, coercive, or inappropriate requests or communication.

Any attempt to reframe the nature of the service or the practitioner’s role beyond what is described in these Terms.

Harassment of any kind.

These boundaries exist to protect the integrity of the space and the wellbeing of all parties.

8. Confidentiality

The Composure Rooms treats all personal information, reflections, and communications shared by clients with strict confidentiality. This information will not be shared with any third party except where required by law.

Clients are asked to respect the privacy of the practitioner and not to share, reproduce, or distribute any written responses, voice reflections, or other materials received as part of the service without prior written consent.

9. Intellectual Property

All written responses, guided observations, curated tasks, and other materials produced by The Composure Rooms remain the intellectual property of the practitioner. They are provided for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or published without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Composure Rooms is not liable for any outcomes, decisions, or actions taken by clients as a result of engaging with the service. The service is reflective and conversational in nature and does not constitute professional advice of any kind. Clients engage with the service at their own discretion.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swiss courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published on our website. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
